some links i'm sure you will enjoy

Monika Aebischer kindly sent me this lovely link
which i've added to the 'places worth swinging by'
on the sidebar
but felt sure folks would like to have brought to their attention

there's another interesting article about Gizella Warburton here

and if you have time, skip to Alice Fox too

i don't have time to write to either of the above artists for permission to show their images so will leave you with a detail from a piece of boro cloth shown in the exhibition curated by Yoshiko Wada in the Haystack gallery [Stonnington, Deer Isle] a month or so ago

  1. I heartily concur; Gizella's work is beautiful and even more so in the real fabric. She hosts an open studio once a year which is well worth getting to. (and she is lovely herself!)

  4. Love the boro cloth. I also love Alice Fox's work - beautiful and understated. it seems to get better and better with everything she does.
